Microsoft and Google Mutually Agreed To Make Peace

IIt is normal for the industry giants are involved in processes and struggles over patents, which always seek to give them an edge over the competition. But Microsoft and Google have now reached a historic agreement, which was solving all their differences and ending all regulatory disputes that stemmed in court.
The agreement that the two companies were able to come to put an end to several years of fights in courts and generated various processes against the old patents and processes.
From a situation, 18 cases terminated that were still under evaluation in the courts and that could cost both the companies several million dollars either in fines or under agreements. But both the companies Google and Microsoftwent further and committed to discuss and seek to resolve any future situations before resorting to the courts.
Google said in a statement that “Our companies compete vigorously, but we want to do so on the merits of our products, not in legal proceedings. As a result, following our patent agreement, we’ve now agreed to withdraw regulatory complaints against one another”.
Microsoft also echoed the similar sentiments by saying that “Microsoft has agreed to withdraw its regulatory complaints against Google, reflecting our changing legal priorities” and that it will “continue to focus on competing vigorously for business and for customers.”
According to the sources, This agreement was expedited straightforwardly by the both companies CEOs, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella of and Google CEO Sundar Pichai. The two men share a welcoming relationship, dissimilar to their forerunners Steve Ballmer and Eric Schmidt. Earlier in September 2015, Microsoft had dropped it’s staying patent prosecution against the tech giant Google. However, the organization looked for patent authorities from hardware producers that use Linux and Android in their products.
The competition between the companies will continue, but now in a more practical field, seeking to captivate users with their products and looking for merit in their offerings. It is this Microsoft’s point of view and that of Google, which expressed in their statements on the agreement.
Now this agreement came as a result of a more relaxed posture and good relationship between the two CEOs, Satya Nadella and Sundar Pichai, the companies will collaborate more closely.
