As expected Korean Giant Samsung launched its flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy Note 7 on August 11, 2016. The best part is Samsung had included numbers of interesting improvements and features over the previous model.

The new Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Phablet launched in India at the price of Rs 59,990. The handset will be available through e-commerce websites from September 2. As the Korean Giant Samsung introduced earlier it at New York event. The new Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will be available in Gold Platinum, Silver Titanium and Black Onyx colour variants.
Last year, we witnessed Samsung Launched Galaxy Note 5 along with Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+. However, there is no Samsung Galaxy Note 6. Samsung skipped one digit naming the series of their phablet
As the Company’s homepage mentioned “Galaxy Note 7- The Smartphone that thinks big” let’s know how big the smartphone is by going through its specification-
The new Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will share the dimensions of 153.5 x 73.9 x 7.9 mm and weighs 169 gram. It comes up with a dual-curved screen so you can do more, better and faster. However, the device features a 5.7inch display which might be difficult to use with one hand. That’s why S Pen has been included. Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has more refined curves if compared to S7 Edge.
The device features a 5.7 inch Super AMOLED display with a 2560×1440 resolution and 518ppi. For protection, it has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 which also happens to be on the back for protection. The Display does offer vivid colours and enough brightness to use it under sunlight.
Now if we talk about its hardware than Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will have the chipset of Exynos 8890 octa-core processor along with 4GB Ram and a GPU of Mali-T880 MP12. It will have the Octa-core processor (2.3GHz Quad + 1.6GHz Quad). The internal storage of the phablet is 64 Gb and that can be extended up to 256GB with the help of microSD card.
The new Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will be running on Android OS, v6.0.1 that is Marshmallow Samsung’s TouchWiz UI layer on top. The phablet might be upgraded to Android 7.0 (Nougat). If we talk about its camera Samsung Galaxy Note 7 comes up with the 12megapixel primary camera and a front facing camera of 5megapixel. It also comes up with sensors like Iris scanner, fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer, heart rate, SpO2
Now it’s time for the most important element for every smartphone, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 comes up with non-removable Li-Po 3500 mAh battery. According to Samsung, the battery is enough to last full day and can be expanded using battery saver mode. Samsung has also introduced the faster USB Type-C version.
The new Samsung Galaxy Note 7 also has the IP68 certification which means the phone will be dust and water resistant. Even the S-Pen also comes up with an IP68 certification that simply means that you can use your Samsung Galaxy Note 7 underwater or rain.
